WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Eleva Coffee Lounge celebrated the grand opening of its second location in Williamsburg’s New Town Shops on Nov. 22, marking a significant expansion just five months after unveiling its flagship location in Merchants Square.
Known for its ethically sourced coffee from farms in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Ecuador, Eleva aims to bring international coffee experiences to the Williamsburg community. Owners Amr and Sue Hassan, passionate about exploring coffee cultures during their travels, expressed their enthusiasm for sharing their journey with local residents.
The Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday to commemorate the opening.
“It’s wonderful to have another place to come sit down and have a cup of coffee and talk in New Town,” said Jim Icenhour, James City County’s Jamestown District representative. “Welcome to the community, and we really appreciate [the owners] bringing your business to the Jamestown district of James City County.”
One of the standout features of the new location is its on-site coffee roasting, a first for Eleva. Additionally, the lounge will offer an alcohol menu, enhancing its appeal as a versatile social hub.
Located at 4808 Courthouse St. in New Town, Eleva Coffee Lounge operates daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
