Dunkin’ is planning to open a new location in St. Louis County at a former pizza restaurant site. The coffee chain, formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts, has filed an application with the city of Crestwood to renovate the building at 9600 Watson Road. The location, situated at the southwest corner of Watson and Old Sappington roads, was previously home to an Imo’s Pizza restaurant that has since closed.
The proposed renovation includes updates to both the interior and exterior of the 1,753-square-foot building, along with the addition of a drive-thru.
The property is owned by Carl Imo, a member of the family behind Imo’s Pizza. Carl, who served as president of the company until 2022, is the son of Imo’s founders, Ed and Margie Imo. Imo’s Pizza now operates another restaurant at 391 Watson Plaza, a nearby shopping center in Crestwood.
