PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans has opened a new location inside Ponchatoula High School, offering great customer service and excellent coffee.
The coffee shop is run by students with significant needs, providing them with valuable hands-on experience. Traci Giannobile, a teacher at the school, oversees the operation, teaching her students skills like patience, how to answer and ask questions, and customer service.
“These students are gaining real-world experience that will help them build a resume for future job opportunities,” said Giannobile. “They’re learning valuable life skills in the classroom and coffee shop.”
PJ’s Coffee, established in 1978, is known for its commitment to quality coffee. It’s part of New Orleans Roast Coffee, the official coffee of WGNO’s Good Morning New Orleans. The new location inside Ponchatoula High School is another step in the company’s mission to share its love for coffee with the world.
