Poetica Coffee has brought its signature drinks and treats to Prospect Park with the opening of a new mobile food and coffee cart near the Willink Plaza Entrance.
The cart, now open to the public, offers a full menu of coffee, snacks, and pastries. Popular items include honey cinnamon lattes, vegan and non-vegan croissants, and pecan brownies.
Parviz Mukhamadkulov, founder of Poetica Coffee, shared that he named the business to honor Uzbekistan’s rich literary heritage and his grandparents’ legacy. Poetica Coffee first opened in Brooklyn in 2020 and has since grown to nine locations. Mukhamadkulov, a longtime Windsor Terrace resident, said it’s a dream come true to start this new venture in a place where he enjoys spending “countless hours, soaking in the beauty and tranquility of nature.”
“Being part of the park’s vibrant community means a lot to me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this cherished green space,” he said in a statement.
