Philz Coffee, the San Francisco-based coffee brand with 70 locations, has teamed up with podcaster and New York Times bestselling author Simon Sinek to start the year on an inspiring note. Together, they’ve launched a limited-time coffee blend, Optimism Coffee, along with a matching “Cup of Optimism” mug.
“I’ve been drinking Philz coffee every morning for a long time, so when the opportunity to collaborate with them came up, I was thrilled,” said Simon Sinek, founder of The Optimism Company. “Philz’s mission perfectly aligns with our goal of spreading optimism, and we wanted to create something fun that also reminds people to embrace positivity every day.”
Sinek visited Philz’s roasting plant, where he worked closely with the brand’s coffee sourcing, roasting, and blending experts to create his ideal blend. The result is Optimism Coffee, which features hints of hazelnut, caramel, and toasted pecan. To enhance the experience, the collaboration also includes a 14-ounce “Cup of Optimism” mug, designed to encourage a daily dose of positivity.
