Soho Coffee has closed its Bath café on Union Street in a “bittersweet” announcement made on Sunday, January 12. The closure was shared in a letter posted on the café door, which thanked customers for their loyalty and support.
The letter read: “This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you soon. It’s bittersweet to announce that our Bath store is closing and our last day will be 12/01/25. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, support and friendship over the years.”
Known for its conscious-crafted coffee and handmade food, Soho Coffee operates numerous locations across the UK, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, and Doha. The closure of the Bath branch has sparked concerns among residents about the future of other coffee shops in the city.
