Lekko Coffee has officially opened a new location at 826 W. St. Clair Ave. in downtown Cleveland.
The new location has been in the works for several months, according to an Instagram post shared on December 30, 2024.
Lekko Coffee roasts its own beans on-site, using an Arc Roaster. The beans are sourced from importers who prioritize fair pay, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting equitable wages for farmers.
Matt Ashton, the owner and founder of Lekko Coffee, has extensive experience in the coffee industry. He has worked at notable establishments such as Solstice Coffee Roasters, Rising Star Coffee Roasters, and Passenger’s Cafe. Ashton, who is also a French horn player, initially started working as a barista to give himself more flexibility for music practice and performances.
The new shop will be open every day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lekko Coffee also operates a second location at 2529 Detroit Ave., which is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
