Dutch Bros, the rapidly expanding Oregon-based coffee chain, is reportedly planning to open a new location in Dayton. As first reported by the Dayton Business Journal, the company has filed a commercial building permit with Montgomery County for a store at 7922 N Dixie Dr, situated on the north side of Dayton.
This follows Dutch Bros’ earlier filing for a new store near the University of Dayton at 1141 Brown St, as reported by What Now Columbus last fall. However, it remains unclear when either of the locations will open. What Now Columbus reached out to Dutch Bros for more information on the timeline for the North Dixie Drive store, but a company representative stated that further details are not yet available.
According to Dutch Bros’ website, the chain currently operates in over a dozen states. Its menu offers a variety of coffee drinks served hot, iced, or frozen, including its signature Blended Freeze, which blends coffee with flavors and ice. The menu also includes nitro cold brew, protein coffee, and more. For those who don’t drink coffee, the chain offers energy drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, tea, and hot cocoa.
