Cedar and Sage Café to Open at Haskell Indian Nations University

by Jessica

A new student-run coffee shop and café is preparing for its grand opening at Haskell Indian Nations University. Cedar and Sage Café, named through a student contest, marks a major milestone in the university’s efforts to enhance campus amenities and provide new opportunities for its students.

The café will offer a hands-on learning environment where student workers can gain valuable experience in key business areas such as menu development, customer service, pricing, inventory management, and daily operations. According to a university news release, proceeds from Cedar and Sage Café will directly benefit students, supporting wages for student workers and providing additional funding for student activities.
