A Bristol-based café has taken the top spot as the “Most Popular Coffee Shop in the UK,” reflecting the rise of independent coffee culture nationwide. Mrs Potts Chocolate House, located on Park Street, is known for its wide range of hot chocolates and chocolate-based food and drinks. It scored highest in a recent study by Solopress, which ranked UK coffee shops by analyzing social media metrics, including TikTok and Instagram posts with shop hashtags, as well as Google search volumes from 2023 and 2024.
Mrs Potts Chocolate House earned the title of the UK’s most popular coffee shop with an impressive annual search volume of 97,200. The shop also enjoys strong social media engagement, with 289 Instagram posts and 257 TikTok videos. Serving customers since 2017, Mrs Potts initially operated at 20 Park Street before moving to larger premises at 50 Park Street in November 2020 to accommodate its growing fanbase.
