PDX Coffee Club offers a specialty coffee experience where no one will look down on you for not knowing terms like affogato, ristretto, or lungo.
At PDX Coffee Club, you can skip the scoffs and eye rolls often found at other specialty coffee shops. The café, founded by Joe Shum Seruto, prides itself on being a welcoming space for everyone—from seasoned baristas to first-time coffee drinkers. “Anyone is welcome here, and there’s no judgment,” Shum Seruto said.
His mission is simple: to make the specialty coffee world relaxed and approachable. PDX Coffee Club recently relocated from the Portland Food Hall to Please Louise, a pizza spot in the Hillsdale neighborhood, where it now operates as a cafe on wheels. Located at 6369 S.W. Capitol Highway, the café serves up coffee roasted locally in Portland.
“The mission of the PDX Coffee Club was not only to appeal to coffee enthusiasts but to share the stories and flavors that make Portland unique,” Shum Seruto added.
