Heartwood Coffee has officially opened in Milton, offering fresh coffee and pastries, with plans to expand its menu soon. The new coffee shop is located at 1145 N Main Street, inside the New Heights Church building.
Don Knapp, the owner of Heartwood Coffee, expressed his gratitude for the community’s overwhelming support. He hopes the shop will become a local staple and attract more people to the area.
“One of the reasons we chose this spot is because there wasn’t really a coffee shop around here,” Knapp explained. “Also, being connected to the church gives us a chance to introduce people to it. Maybe they’ll come back on Sundays too.”
Currently, Heartwood Coffee is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. If business picks up, Knapp hopes to extend the shop’s hours to include weekends in the future.
