“The skills and knowledge imparted at the university will elevate the standards of Gelato and Coffee making in Nigeria, creating new opportunities for economic growth and employment,” he added.

Mr. Tunji Olaniyi, the Managing Director of Cosmos Trade Nigeria and Founder of Gelato and Coffee University, explained that the idea for the University arose from the need to train clients properly in the business, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols and correct product preparation. He stressed that the company’s success is intertwined with the success of its clients.

Olaniyi noted that the University caters to two primary groups: entrepreneurs who own coffee shops and individuals seeking skill acquisition for employment in the hospitality sector.

Expressing his gratitude to the Lagos State Government for its support, Olaniyi affirmed the company’s commitment to responding to market and client demands.
