Tehachapi News, July 21, 2024 – Tehachapi Police Chief Richard Standridge is extending an open invitation to the community for an informal meet-and-greet event, “Coffee with the Chief,” set for Thursday, July 25. The gathering will take place at Mountain Coffee House on Mill Street from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
This event continues the tradition of community outreach initiatives such as Coffee with the Mayor and Coffee with a Cop. Chief Standridge and his command staff will be present to engage in open dialogue, answer questions, address concerns, and discuss public safety matters in a casual, approachable setting.
Chief Standridge expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “I encourage everyone to join us for a coffee and conversation. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss public safety issues or simply get to know the department better.”
