Nerdforge has once again captured the imagination of enthusiasts with its latest creation: a custom Disney-themed coffee maker designed to resemble a real-life theme park castle. This ambitious project began with the purchase of a Philips Senseo Switch 3-in-1 coffee machine, which served as the base for the transformation.
The design process involved detailed CAD drawings of the castle, which were subsequently used to 3D print the individual components. Once the pieces were printed, attention turned to assembling the water reservoir and crafting the intricate brick pattern of the castle. The brickwork was enhanced with pencil detailing and textured using aluminum foil before the final touch of paint was applied.
One commenter praised the build, suggesting a minor enhancement: “The only improvement I would recommend is adding blue LED lighting behind the water tower to better illuminate the water level. Otherwise, it looks fantastic. I appreciate the use of 3D printing to address repetitive design challenges in such projects.”
