Gelson’s Market is excited to announce the debut of its Epicure Coffee Series, crafted in partnership with renowned specialty coffee roaster Go Get Em Tiger. To celebrate, the market will host a free pour-over coffee event on Tuesday, August 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the wine bar in Gelson’s Century City store.

At the event, Bear Goodell, Director of Product and Roasting Operations at Go Get Em Tiger, alongside skilled baristas, will offer complimentary samples of the new Epicure Coffee Series. Attendees will experience four exclusive coffee varieties, sourced from leading international producers and roasted in Los Angeles.

Boa Vista Brazil (medium-bodied): From Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro region, this coffee offers aromas of dried fruits like raisins and figs, with a nutty finish.

Cerro de Oro Guatemala (medium-bodied): Grown in the volcanic Atitlán region, this coffee has bold, chocolatey flavors with subtle cherry and papaya notes.

Gelson’s Reserve (medium-dark bodied): The series’ signature blend, merging coffees from Colombia, Guatemala, and Honduras for a rich, chocolatey espresso profile.

The Epicure Coffee Series joins Gelson’s existing selection of premium brands such as Blue Bottle and Stumptown Coffee Roasters, along with nearly twenty private-label options.

Kyle Glanville, founder and CEO of Go Get Em Tiger, praised the collaboration, noting, “Gelson’s commitment to quality and community aligns with our vision. This partnership is set to redefine grocery coffee.”

Gelson’s Vice President of Center Store, Rich Gillmore, shared enthusiasm for the new series: “We’re excited to work with Go Get Em Tiger and believe these coffees will become a favorite part of our customers’ daily routines.”
