Jamba is set to expand its beverage menu with the launch of its new blended coffee offerings on September 10, tapping into a growing trend among younger consumers. With 74% of Americans drinking coffee daily, and a notable preference for specialty cold coffee among Gen Z and millennials, Jamba aims to capture this market with innovative new drinks.
The fruit smoothie chain’s new line will debut with two distinct flavors: the Coffee Dream Machine, a vanilla-infused frozen coffee, and the Buzzin’ Mocha Moo’d, a blend of frozen coffee and chocolate. Both beverages will be made with 2% milk, with options to substitute almond, soy, or oat milk. Customers can further customize their drinks with Coconut Whip or add Jamba’s “boosts,” including whey protein, soy protein, zinc, and 3G energy.
To celebrate the launch, Jamba is hosting the “Sunrise Smoothie Tour,” a promotional event traveling through California. Starting next month, before the official release, the chain will offer previews of the new drinks at pop-up events in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Attendees will enjoy free blended coffee, sunrise yoga sessions, coupons, and exclusive merchandise. These sunrise-themed events are free but require RSVP via Eventbrite.
Nathan Louer, Jamba’s chief brand officer, highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing daily routines with their new offerings, saying, “We are focused on bringing sunshine to our (current and) future guests through new product offerings that will boost their brightest selves as we strive to become part of their daily routine.”
The launch and tour are being actively promoted across Jamba’s social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook. On September 12, customers nationwide can enjoy the new blended coffees for a special introductory price of $2.99 at all Jamba locations.
