by Jessica

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Entrepreneur Anthony Perera has once again broadened his business horizons with the recent opening of the latest Ella Coffee House in Coral Springs. This new establishment marks another step in Perera’s journey since acquiring the Ella brand in 2022.

With a diverse background in industries ranging from media to air conditioning, Perera now operates four Ella locations across Florida, including sites in Plantation, Davie, and Hard Rock Stadium. The newest addition is situated at 4691 University Drive in Coral Springs.

The newly launched Ella Coffee House offers a diverse menu featuring coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Additionally, the venue will host live music events every Saturday, enhancing its community atmosphere. Perera has ambitious plans for expansion, aiming to establish 20 additional franchise locations throughout Florida.

Perera’s interest in the Ella brand began in 2016 during his frequent visits to the original Plantation location. “There was a good vibe, quality food, and it was always busy,” he reminisced, recalling the café’s inviting environment. When the previous owner decided to sell, Perera seized the opportunity to make his mark.

With nearly two decades of entrepreneurial experience, Perera has built a reputation for developing successful brands. He launched his career at the age of 19 with Mud Life Magazine, which evolved into a best-selling off-road publication distributed nationwide. After selling the media group in 2011, he founded Cowboys Saloon, a nightclub chain with multiple locations, and Air Pros USA, an air conditioning company that now operates across six states with over 500 employees.

Now, Perera is committed to transforming Ella Coffee House into a nationally recognized brand. “My goal is to put an Ella in every city in the country,” he asserted, showcasing his ambitious vision.

Since opening in July, the Coral Springs location has shown promising performance. “It’s a great family area with strong demographics, and we’ve had a great start,” Perera noted, reflecting on the café’s successful launch.

Outside of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Perera enjoys playing tennis, working out, and traveling with his family. He emphasizes the importance of exposing his children, Amelia and A.J., to new experiences through travel.

As he focuses on the growth of Ella Coffee House, Perera believes in the brand’s local, community-oriented approach. “People are tired of the big chains, and there’s no passion in those businesses,” he remarked, highlighting what sets Ella apart.

With plans for rapid expansion, Perera hinted that northwest Broward County could soon see additional Ella locations. “I don’t think this is going to be the last Ella in the Coral Springs and Parkland area,” he concluded, signaling a bright future for the brand.
