Beanhive Coffee Co., a favorite among Tipp City and West Milton residents, will open its first-ever brick-and-mortar location at noon on Friday, November 8. Known for its popular coffee trailer that traveled to local events, Beanhive has been a fixture in the Tipp City community. While the grand opening marks an official milestone, the shop has already been in a “soft launch” phase in partnership with Sweet Adeline’s Bakery for several weeks.
The new location, nestled in downtown Tipp City at 22 N. Second St., combines coffee and baked goods, offering a convenient stop for locals to enjoy both a cup of coffee and a pastry. Despite the soft launch, the coffee shop has quickly become a popular spot for residents looking to grab a quick coffee during their daily routines.
Beanhive owner Sandra Teague, known for her spunky and energetic personality, is thrilled about this new venture. Her favorite drink on the menu, the “Busy Bee,” is a fitting description of her hardworking nature. Sandra started Beanhive in 2021 as a mobile coffee cart from the backyard of her West Milton home. Since then, she has been traveling to local events, serving up delicious coffees and energy drinks. After a few years of success with the coffee trailer, Sandra is excited to finally open a permanent space for the community to enjoy.
Although Beanhive operates inside Sweet Adeline’s, transactions are separate, with registers positioned close together for easy access to both coffee and treats. The two businesses work together to create in-house syrups and flavorings, providing a unique experience for customers.
Looking ahead, Teague has big dreams for Beanhive, with plans to eventually combine her love of coffee with her interest in antiques. Her dedication and warm personality have already helped build a loyal customer base, and her new shop is expected to attract even more visitors to downtown Tipp City.
Teague is also committed to giving back to the community. She has introduced a special offer, providing a $2 coffee for senior citizens, as a thank you for their support. Beanhive Coffee Co. has quickly become a popular stop for those heading to Sweet Adeline’s or nearby businesses like The Clothesline.
