Tealive’s New ‘K-Coffee’ Launch: Serving Coffee That’s ‘Oppa Approved’

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Tealive has officially launched its new ‘K-Coffee’ line, a fresh category of Korean-inspired coffee drinks that are set to captivate Malaysian coffee lovers. The launch was marked by a special pre-tasting event at the K-Coffee Pop-up Cafe at Sunway Pyramid.

Starting from 6 November 2024, K-Coffee will be available at all Tealive outlets nationwide, offering Malaysians a chance to experience the popular coffee trend that has taken Korea by storm.

Tealive partnered with TBWA\Malaysia to create a culturally resonant brand campaign for the K-Coffee range. The catchy tagline “Oppa Approved,” developed by TBWA\Malaysia, adds a playful, authentic touch that taps into the vibrant Korean coffee culture and resonates with fans across the region.

Tealive is aiming to sell one million cups of K-Coffee within 10 days of its launch. To make the challenge even more exciting, the company has promised to unveil a mysterious “Oppa” figure if the goal is achieved. A digital-out-of-home (DOOH) billboard in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, went live on 6 November to track the real-time progress of the challenge, showcasing the growing popularity of the new coffee line.

K-Coffee features several exciting new drinks, including the K-Americano A-A, the brand’s flagship cold brew Americano, which delivers a bold and refreshing taste that has become a staple in Korea. Also on offer are the K-Sparkling Peach Americano and K-Sparkling Grape Americano, both combining fruity flavours with the rich taste of Americano coffee. For those who prefer something creamy and indulgent, the Spanish Latte rounds out the menu as a crowd favourite in Malaysia.
