A new food and coffee spot, Mini Gourmet Deli, has officially opened its doors at 230 E. 14th St., nestled between Second and Third avenues.
This street-facing stand draws comparisons to the much-loved Mike’s Coffee & Deli on 32nd Street, offering a similar mix of grab-and-go items. The menu features affordable options, including coffee ($2 for a small, $2.69 for a large), fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies, and fruit salads.
For those craving something heartier, Mini Gourmet Deli serves empanadas, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken sandwiches. Notably, a cheeseburger loaded with caramelized onions, pickles, American cheese, and their signature “smack sauce” is priced at just $5.99. The most expensive offering is the chicken sauté, a flavorful combination of chicken, onions, jalapeños, sweet red peppers, and herbs sautéed in butter and oil, served over basmati rice with salad and sauces, for $12.49.
Currently, the deli operates without a website or social media presence, but customers can reach them directly at (646) 370-3418.
Mini Gourmet Deli is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., breathing new life into a space that had remained empty for years following the closure of PJ’s Grocery.
Whether you’re looking for a quick caffeine fix or a satisfying meal, Mini Gourmet Deli offers an inviting new option in the neighborhood.
