Milwaukee’s Red Arrow Park is welcoming a new coffee tenant as Biggby Coffee officially opens its doors on Monday, Nov. 25, at 920 W. Water St. The highly anticipated opening comes nearly a year after the closure of the Starbucks that previously occupied the space for nearly two decades.
To mark the occasion, Biggby Coffee has announced a series of grand opening promotions running throughout its first week of operations, as shared in a Nov. 20 social media update.
Replacing a Longtime Coffee Fixture
The new coffee shop fills the vacancy left by Starbucks, which shuttered at the end of November last year after nearly 20 years at Red Arrow Park. Biggby Coffee was confirmed as the site’s new occupant in December 2022, with construction commencing in late September.
Grand Opening Specials
Biggby Coffee’s first week at Red Arrow Park includes the following promotions:
Monday, Nov. 25: Buy one drink, get a second drink free with any drink purchase.
Tuesday, Nov. 26: Receive a free “bragel” (a bagel sandwich) with the purchase of any 24-ounce specialty beverage.
Wednesday, Nov. 27: $1 from every cup sold will be donated to the Milwaukee Humane Society.
Thursday, Nov. 28: Closed for Thanksgiving.
Friday, Nov. 29: Every 10th customer will win a “gold cup,” granting them free coffee for the remainder of the year while supplies last.
Biggby Coffee’s arrival adds a fresh offering to the Red Arrow Park café space, providing a new hub for coffee enthusiasts and the downtown community.
