Horrocks Farm Market in Delta Township is expanding its offerings with the addition of a new coffee bar this fall. Customers will be able to enjoy classic European coffee drinks, freshly brewed coffee, tea, and Italian sodas at the 7420 W Saginaw Hwy. store.
The coffee bar will complement the store’s existing coffee department and is an extension of its in-house coffee roasting operation, according to owner Kim Horrocks. “We do a lot with coffee,” he said, noting the variety of offerings available.
The Coffee House, as the new bar will be called, has been a long-time idea for the store’s management. General Manager Dan Dunn shared that the concept has been discussed for nearly a decade. “It’s one of the ideas the owners have had for a very long time,” Dunn said. The goal is to grow the concept over time, with future plans to add seating and host tasting events.
In addition to espresso-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, the menu will feature brewed coffee, tea, and a selection of flavored Italian sodas. The coffee bar will use freshly roasted beans sourced from Horrocks’ own roasting operation, with some specialty flavors provided by Paramount.
The new coffee bar aims to bring the charm of a small-town coffee shop to the market, creating a place where customers can enjoy a variety of drinks while shopping. The owners hope the addition will enhance the community-focused atmosphere at Horrocks Farm Market.
