Salisbury, Md. – Coffee lovers in Salisbury, Maryland, have a new destination to enjoy a hot cup of Southern-style coffee. PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, a beloved Southern franchise, opened its first location in Wicomico County on October 21, 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on December 5.
Owner Rob Beckey expressed his excitement about bringing the taste of the South to the Eastern Shore. “We’re thrilled to bring PJ’s to Salisbury. It’s an opportunity for the community to experience some Southern flavor, and our drive-thru option will provide fast and convenient service,” Beckey said. “PJ’s is a fantastic coffee, and if anyone’s tried it, they know it tastes great!”
The café is offering more than just great coffee. One of the standout items on the menu is the Beignet, a hot powdered sugar pastry that’s freshly made to order. “If you’ve never had one, you should definitely come in and try it,” Beckey said. “It’s a delicious treat, and we make them fresh, so sometimes it may take a minute, but it’s worth the wait!”
PJ’s Coffee is located at 1315 South Salisbury Road, Salisbury, MD, and is open daily from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. The café offers a welcoming space for the community to gather, sip on their favorite beverages, and enjoy a taste of the South.
