Let’s Go Coffee Co. Opens in Emmaus, Offering Coffee and Community

by Jessica

EMMAUS, Pa. — For Mandy Siess and Pablo Farnan, the married owners of Let’s Go Coffee Co., the journey to opening their coffee shop is filled with a touch of irony. Though their story began over tea, it now revolves around coffee — and the grand opening of their new café and gluten-free bakery near the Emmaus Triangle at 359 Main St.

“This is about bringing people together and creating a safe space for them to just sit and enjoy coffee and baked goods,” said Siess, 33, an Alburtis native who now lives in Coopersburg. “We really love building community. What better way than over a sweet treat and a cup of coffee?”

Farnan, 30, added, “Who doesn’t love coffee in the morning, especially on a day like this? It makes people smile.”

What started two years ago as a mobile coffee trailer serving local community events, combined with a bakery in Reading, has now blossomed into a full-fledged business. The couple has taken over the former Golden Trigger gun shop, transforming the space into a welcoming coffee haven.

“I think they’ll do very well here,” said Robert Litzenberger, the former owner of the gun shop, as he sipped his morning coffee in the new café. “This is a great spot.”

A Warm, Cozy Retreat

Upon entering Let’s Go Coffee Co., customers are greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and soft background music that sets a relaxed tone. The space is cozy, with two-, four-, and six-seat tables, comfortable chairs, and a couch, all surrounded by framed photographs that hold personal significance to the owners.

To the left, customers can browse merchandise including mugs, T-shirts, and a display case filled with gluten-free pastries baked on-site by Siess. Coffee dispensers line one side of the main counter, where drinks like espresso, cappuccinos, americanos, lattes, and iced lattes are prepared to order. Tea, including matcha, is also available — a nod to the couple’s first date, which involved tea instead of coffee.

“I think it’s perfect here,” said Brenda Geisel of Emmaus, a local resident. “Since the other coffee shop closed, I missed having a place to just drop in for a coffee. I’ll be here often.”

A Community Gathering Spot

The opening of Let’s Go Coffee Co. fills a gap left by the closure of Nowhere Coffee Co. earlier this year, and the new café has quickly become a favorite spot for locals.

Megan Bush, a customer, was delighted by her hazelnut iced coffee. “Oh, yeah!” she exclaimed after her first sip.

The couple named their business Let’s Go Coffee Co. as a tribute to their shared love of adventure, whether it’s a spontaneous trip around the corner or a longer journey across the country. For now, though, they’re happy to stay put and focus on building their community.

“We wanted to create a quiet, cozy place where people could come, sit, and get away from the world for a while,” Siess said.

For Mandy and Pablo, it’s all about comfort, coffee, and connection.
