Rabbit Hole Coffee’s pop-up café at Harvey Nichols in the Victoria Quarter, which opened in 2022, will close its doors on January 12, 2025. Initially intended to operate for just three months, the café became a beloved fixture and exceeded expectations, staying for a total of three years.
Owner Ste Thomas announced the closure on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the support the café received. “What was meant to be a three-month pop-up celebrating local suppliers and Leeds baristas turned into three whole years,” Thomas shared. “Now it’s time for us to say goodbye. Our last day at Harvey Nichols will be 12th January 2025.”
Thomas also reflected on the journey, calling it a “massive rollercoaster of emotions” and an “amazing experience.” He thanked everyone who made the pop-up possible and gave special recognition to the staff, saying, “Thank you to the amazing people who have worked with us here. It’s been a hell of a ride.”
In addition to the pop-up at Harvey Nichols, Rabbit Hole Coffee operates a popular café in Moortown and has a pop-up residency at Leeds Beckett School of Arts. Known for its signature coffee and highly praised sandwiches, the brand has earned a loyal following in Leeds.
