A new Foxtail Coffee shop opened Thursday in Byron Center, located at 325 84th St. SW, just off US-131 in Byron Township. The new location sits directly across from Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids.
“We’re excited to be open just in time for the holiday shopping season,” said Samuel Nichols, director of business operations for the Baton Collective, in an interview with News 8.
This marks the third Michigan location for the Florida-based coffee chain. The Baton Collective, owned by Cheri DeVos, began expanding Foxtail Coffee into West Michigan earlier this year. In the spring, a shop opened in Ada near the Ada Hotel, followed by a second location in Holland in August, inside the former Ferris Coffee/JP’s space.
A fourth location is planned for Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids, set to open next year. Nichols has previously emphasized the Baton Collective’s commitment to Foxtail’s emphasis on quality coffee and fostering a strong sense of community.
“We want our shops to serve as community hubs, spaces where people can relax, have conversations, and enjoy great coffee,” Nichols added.
