Jamison Savage, a leading figure in ultra-high-end coffee farming, continues to make waves in the industry. His Panamanian farm, Finca Deborah, is renowned for producing Gesha variety coffees, which have become favorites among World Barista Championship competitors. This year, both the winner, Indonesia’s Mikael Jasin, and the runner-up, Australia’s Jack Simpson, praised his coffees.
In addition to farming, Jamison and his wife Leslie run Savage Coffees, a roastery that offers a unique spin on their signature Panamanian coffees. Now, the couple is set to expand their brand with the opening of their first cafe in the United States.
Located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, the new Savage Coffees cafe will be situated on the ground floor of The Nolen, a 23-story luxury condominium. The cafe is expected to open in early 2025 and marks a new chapter for the business, which already operates a roastery just a few miles away. This new space will be the second Savage location in the city.
