Foxtail Coffee Co. is set to open a new cafe in Grand Rapids’ Eastown neighborhood. The cafe will be located in the former Little Caesars building at Wealthy Street SE and Fuller Avenue SE.
“We believe this will be a great addition to the community, revitalizing the corner and creating a gathering space for locals,” said Sam Nichols, Director of Business Operations for Baton Collective, the Ada-based company serving as the local franchisee for Foxtail Coffee Co.
Foxtail Coffee, a Florida-based chain with over 70 locations across Florida, Georgia, and Nevada, is also expanding in Michigan with cafes in Ada, Holland, and Byron Center. Baton Collective, a real estate development firm owned by Cheri DeVos, is helping bring the brand to Grand Rapids.
The new coffee shop is expected to open in late spring. Nichols describes Foxtail Coffee as offering craft, high-quality coffee in a cozy, welcoming environment, with additional offerings including tea, pastries, sandwiches, and gelato.
