Ediya Coffee Opens First Store in Malaysia, Marks Global Expansion

Ediya Coffee, a leading South Korean coffeehouse chain, has officially opened its first store in Malaysia, marking a key milestone in the company’s international expansion. The new branch, located in Elmina, was launched with a grand opening ceremony on December 19, attended by notable guests such as Moon Chang-ki, Chairman of Ediya Coffee, Mohammad Hafiz bin Abdul Rahim, CEO of Ediya’s Malaysian partner, Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Minister of International Trade and Industry, and Mohammad Kamil bin Abdul Munim, Political Secretary to the Prime Minister.

The event highlighted the launch of the Elmina location, signaling the beginning of Ediya Coffee’s ambitious overseas expansion plans. Chairman Moon expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating, “Ediya Coffee plans to embark on a full-scale overseas expansion starting with the opening of the Elmina branch.”
