Costa Coffee stores across the UK are currently dealing with stock shortages after disruptions “temporarily impacted deliveries.” As a result, some locations have been unable to offer certain food items, including cakes, baps, and pastries.
Frustrated customers have taken to social media to report the issue. One user on X (formerly Twitter) posted, “No cakes, pastries, bread at Costa. What’s going on @CostaCoffee?” Another commenter shared their experience, saying, “The poor @CostaCoffee workers, the lights have been out for weeks in their corner of @Tesco & now there’s a supply issue and no fridge stock! Regardless, they smile and serve.”
A third customer noted, “My local hasn’t had a cinnamon bun in all week, and I’ve been dying for one!”
A spokesperson for Costa Coffee confirmed the disruption and reassured customers that the company is working to resolve the issue. Speaking to The Sun, the spokesperson said, “We are aware of the disruption at one of our distribution partners, which has temporarily impacted deliveries to some of our stores. We are working to ensure that disruption to our customers is minimised in the affected areas.”
