On January 1, 2025, an unmanned retail cafe opened in Shenzhen Bay Park, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The cafe, which covers about 150 square meters, has seating for 80 customers. It is equipped with three unmanned coffee machines that can prepare 34 different drinks, including freshly ground coffee.
The cafe operates 24 hours a day, allowing customers to select and pay for their drinks by simply tapping a screen. Drinks are ready in just about one minute.
