Nescafé, the world’s largest coffee company, has announced the upcoming launch of its new Espresso Concentrate in U.S. markets. Made with 100% Arabica beans, the concentrate comes in a 300-milliliter bottle, which can make up to 20 cups of espresso.
The product, which has already seen success in China and Australia, will be available for purchase in U.S. retailers starting in February. The exact launch date has not yet been confirmed.
Nescafé Espresso Concentrate is designed for convenience, dissolving easily in water or milk. Consumers can mix it with ice and either water or milk to create their own customized espresso drinks at home. The product will be offered in two flavors: Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Black and Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Sweet Vanilla, the latter providing a touch of sweetness for iced coffee lovers.
The launch responds to the growing demand for cold coffee, especially among younger generations. According to a press release from Nescafé, nearly one in three cups of coffee consumed outside the home is cold coffee. With this innovation, Nescafé aims to help consumers make barista-style cold espresso drinks at home with ease.
