Costa Coffee has temporarily closed its Birmingham Airport arrivals cafe for a refurbishment, with plans to reopen in early March. The closure, which began on Monday, January 6, will see the coffee shop undergo significant upgrades, though part of the seating area remains open for customers.
To ensure travelers are still able to enjoy their coffee, Costa has set up a temporary cart in place of the café. The upcoming revamped café will feature a fresh, modern design with “brighter and bolder” decor, and include a touch-screen system to enhance service speed. Costa has expressed that the redesign is part of its ongoing effort to bring joy and a refreshing experience to the airports, towns, and high streets it serves. The coffee giant promises a “stunning new look” that will aim to delight customers upon reopening.
