Rotorua Airport is set to elevate its guest experience with the launch of a new partnership with Boasters Coffee Roasters. The collaboration introduces The Hangar – Airport Café, which will offer travelers and visitors a taste of local flavor.
Starting Tuesday, January 21, a pop-up café will open on-site, allowing guests to enjoy a preview of what’s to come while the café undergoes renovations. Demolition of the current café space will begin next week, with a full fit-out and the official opening of The Hangar planned for mid-April.
Rotorua Airport Chief Executive Nicole Brewer shared that this new partnership highlights the airport’s commitment to showcasing local talent. “Boasters Coffee Roasters is renowned for its locally roasted coffee and excellent service,” Ms. Brewer said. “We’re thrilled to bring them to Rotorua Airport.”
She emphasized that The Hangar will be more than just a coffee stop—it’s a reflection of Rotorua’s vibrant local businesses, offering both travelers and locals a warm, inviting space.
