A new coffee shop has captured the hearts of the Jeannette community, driven by family resilience and passion. Cardinal Coffee, founded in honor of Jason Zollinger, is more than just a café—it is a tribute to a loved one’s legacy and the power of family.
The journey began when Jason Zollinger, who had a deep passion for coffee roasting, inspired his father, Robert Zollinger, to join him in a small home-based coffee roasting venture. However, their dreams took a tragic turn on October 1, 2019, when Jason’s life was cut short in a tragic accident. Despite the heartbreak, Robert and his nephew Charles decided to continue the journey Jason had started, opening Cardinal Coffee in his memory.
The family has committed to upholding the values that Jason held dear, ensuring that each cup of coffee is crafted with the utmost care. Since its opening, the café has quickly become a beloved destination for locals, known for its warm and welcoming environment.
Cardinal Coffee stands out not just for its high-quality brews but for the strong sense of community it has fostered. Residents appreciate the shop’s cozy atmosphere and the friendly service provided by its dedicated team. Robert’s vision goes beyond serving great coffee; he aims to create a space where people can connect and share memories, keeping his son’s spirit alive with every cup.
