Dutch Bros, the rapidly expanding coffee chain originating from Grants Pass, Oregon, is preparing to debut in Louisiana with its first Baton Rouge location.
The company, known for its drive-thru service, is set to present plans for the new store at the Baton Rouge Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on March 17, as outlined in the meeting’s preliminary agenda.
The proposed 950-square-foot coffee shop will be situated on the north side of West Lee Drive. According to the application, the shop will feature approximately 336 square feet of outdoor patio space, with no interior seating planned.
As of September 2024, Dutch Bros operates 950 locations across 18 states, including neighboring Southern regions like Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Alabama. The company aims to hit 1,000 locations by February 2025.
