Nestlé USA has officially opened its new beverage factory and distribution center in Glendale, Arizona, with a focus on producing creamers for popular brands like Coffee mate, natural bliss, and Starbucks. The facility, which began operations on January 28, 2025, is designed to accommodate future expansion to other beverages as demand grows.
The company invested over US$675 million in the Glendale plant to meet the increasing demand driven by the coffee culture boom and consumers’ desire for more personalized drink options.
Daniel Jhung, President of Coffee & Beverage at Nestlé USA, explained, “As the leader in refrigerated creamers, we are focused on meeting consumer needs to fuel business and category growth.” He added, “This new facility is built to support innovation and will play a vital role in our ability to serve customers and consumers, both now and in the future. We are grateful for the warm welcome from Glendale and the State of Arizona and look forward to growing with this vibrant community.”
The Glendale facility marks Nestlé USA’s 20th food and beverage production site and is part of the company’s ongoing US$3 billion investment in enhancing its manufacturing capabilities nationwide. The 630,000-square-foot factory is equipped with cutting-edge technology and digital tools and is expected to create 300 local jobs.
In line with its sustainability goals, Nestlé’s Glendale plant recycles up to 75% of its process water, uses recyclable creamer bottles, and operates as a zero-waste facility. The factory also collaborates with Arizona State University on advanced water management and waste optimization projects and powers its operations using renewable electricity to minimize its carbon footprint.
