On Wednesday, Feb. 5, long lines wrapped around the drive-thru and storefront of Fort Worth’s newest coffee shop, La La Land Kind Cafe. The vibrant white and yellow building, located at 5733 Camp Bowie Blvd, has quickly become a popular spot, marking the brand’s first location in Fort Worth. La La Land, a North Texas-based coffee shop, already has 11 locations in the Dallas area.
The large crowds are especially surprising since this is only a soft launch for the Fort Worth store. During this phase, drinks are being offered at half-price as baristas continue to learn the ropes. This discount will be available until Feb. 7, ahead of the grand opening on Feb. 8.
Customer Natalie Nicol, who waited about 20 minutes for her drink, said the long line inside the cafe didn’t dampen her excitement. “But it was so worth the wait,” she added.
