Yemen, where coffee has been brewed for over 500 years, is recognized as the birthplace of coffee, with Sufi monks originally brewing it as a stimulant.
Founded by two Yemeni entrepreneurs, Hatem and Munif, Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. started with a shared goal of introducing Yemeni coffee to the world. “After eight years of building a sustainable supply chain, we succeeded in sourcing this rare coffee, which now supplies roasters and coffee shops across the U.S.,” the company’s website states.
The recent opening of their new location in Temple Terrace marks a significant milestone for Qamaria as they expand their reach, bringing the taste of Yemen’s finest coffee to the Tampa area.
