The Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) in Visakhapatnam has announced a revision in the prices for coffee purchased from tribal farmers for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
Initially, the pricing was set at ₹350 per kilogram for Arabica Parchment coffee, ₹230 per kilogram for Arabica Cherry coffee, and ₹160 per kilogram for Robusta Cherry coffee. However, due to rising international coffee prices and a commitment to supporting the welfare of tribal coffee farmers, the GCC has revised the rates. The new prices will be ₹340 per kilogram for both Arabica Parchment and Arabica Cherry coffee.
