Residents of Salina now have a new spot to enjoy the rich flavors of Southeast Asia with the arrival of Dragon Boba and Coffee. The shop, which opened in mid-October at 915 W Crawford St., has quickly gained a loyal customer base.
Owned and operated by Panuwach “Palm” Wongpratas and Khamyaht “Kay” Keophaymany, the shop specializes in boba milk tea, coffee, and matcha infused with flavors from their home countries along the Mekong River.
Keophaymany, originally from Laos, moved to Thailand at a young age before immigrating to the United States at 10. Wongpratas, meanwhile, relocated from Thailand about a decade ago. Together, they bring their cultural roots and passion for quality drinks to Salina, offering an authentic taste of Southeast Asia to the community.
