Wawa is showing its support for the Philadelphia Eagles as they head into Sunday’s Super Bowl by offering free coffee to customers. On February 9, anyone can enjoy a hot coffee of any size at Wawa locations until the game’s 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
The Eagles are facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. This special promotion will be available at over 500 Wawa stores across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, including locations in central Pennsylvania.
Wawa, based in Delaware County, has long had a strong connection with Philadelphia’s sports teams. Alex Costabile, Wawa’s chief customer officer, shared his excitement: “We talk about having Goose Pride here at Wawa, but this week, we’ll be cheering for another bird on Sunday and hope they bring our city another championship! Go Birds!”
In addition, Wawa expanded its footprint last year by opening its first central Pennsylvania locations, including stores in Lower Swatara and East Pennsboro townships.
