An Evansville coffeehouse is offering free coffee to customers who share their thoughts on CenterPoint Energy.
The promotion comes in response to a recent statement by CenterPoint, which compared its distribution charges to the price of a latte. The coffeehouse pointed out that while coffee bean prices can fluctuate, they’ve never raised their prices based on such changes.
The coffeehouse also mentioned that while they would prefer not to require a sandwich purchase, the $2,000-plus monthly CenterPoint bill makes it necessary.
