On Tuesday, students from the Tolleson Union High School District gathered at their T-Town Cafe to serve hot drinks, coffee, and pastries to local first responders.
From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., first responders were invited to visit the T-Town Cafe and enjoy complimentary drinks and treats.
“The coffee we serve comes from a local supplier, so everything we offer here is fresh,” said Mike Beltran, Culinary Arts instructor and FCCLA advisor. “Our first responders deserve more than just this. They’re the heroes of our community, and it feels great to give back.”
