Firebat Coffee Roasters, a new specialty coffee provider in Burlington, recently invited local coffee enthusiasts to a tasting event where they sampled three distinct flavors while learning about the art of coffee making. Attendees were taught about the differences between flavors, the terminology used in coffee brewing, and the equipment and techniques involved in creating the perfect cup.
Founded in 2015 by Rodrigo Giammattei and Gustavo and Leena Castelar, Firebat Coffee Roasters opened its Burlington location last year. The company focuses on offering carefully grown and prepared Salvadorian coffee to the local community.
Firebat plans to continue hosting educational and tasting events, like this one, to share their story and craft with Burlington residents.
