The La Salle-Peru High School Board and administration are inviting the community to a coffee talk to discuss recent developments in the revitalization of its agriculture program. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24, in the community room at Utica Village Hall, located at 248 W. Canal St.
This session was rescheduled after a previous meeting was canceled due to weather-related issues. The October 30 meeting had focused on gathering community input and establishing three key work groups: one for a capital campaign to fund a new agriculture building, another for designing the new building, and a third for developing the program’s curriculum.
At the upcoming meeting, Board President Greg Sarver, Board Vice President Sally Taliani, and Superintendent Steven Wrobleski will provide updates on the planning for the new agriculture building and the capital campaign to support the project.
