Seattle is well-known for its coffee culture, but it’s also home to some of the best coffee in the world. This week, a coffee shop with locations in both Seattle and Portland earned a top spot on the prestigious World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops 2025 list, revealed at CoffeeFest Madrid in February.
Push x Pull, based in Portland, Oregon, landed at number 34 on the global list. The shop is celebrated for its naturally processed coffee and experimental flavors. If you’re in Seattle and want to try it out, you’re in luck—the cafe also has a location in the city.
Push x Pull’s Seattle branch, located at 2407 E Union in the Central District, opened in 2022 in the former Union Coffee space. The shop is open daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Known for its high-quality espresso and remote work-friendly environment, Push x Pull has earned rave reviews from customers. It’s also popular for its matcha and chai offerings.
In addition to coffee, Push x Pull serves a selection of pastries, light bites, and even bottles of wine.
