Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative (RECC) and South Central Rural Telecommunications Cooperative are teaming up to launch their first “Coffee with the Co-ops” event, aimed at fostering direct engagement between cooperative members and leadership.
This quarterly community initiative allows members to meet with the leaders of both cooperatives in an informal setting to discuss services, share concerns, and provide feedback. The inaugural event will be held on March 25, from 7 to 9 a.m. at The Hive Coffee and Bakehouse in Glasgow.
“We believe that open communication is essential to providing the best service to our members,” said Toby Moss, President/CEO of Farmers RECC. “Coffee with the Co-ops offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with our members and gather valuable input about our services.”
Jeff Eaton, General Manager and COO of South Central Rural Telecommunications, emphasized the importance of member feedback in shaping future operations. “As a cooperative, we exist to serve our members, and this event provides a meaningful opportunity for us to listen and improve our services,” he said.
The event is free and open to all cooperative members, who are encouraged to bring any questions or feedback about the services provided.
