A new drive-thru coffee stand, The Coffee Shed, has opened in Trumansburg, offering locally sourced coffee and delicious breakfast treats. Located at the site of the former Trimmers ice cream shop, the café has been serving customers since last fall.
The Coffee Shed features coffee from Copper Horse Coffee Roasters and a selection of breakfast sandwiches made with Ithaca Bakery bagels. Owners Keith Hannon and Casey Keller, who also manage Trimmers, saw an opportunity to expand their business by adding coffee to their offerings.
The menu includes popular coffee drinks, as well as creative options like the Thin Mint latte. The breakfast sandwiches have quickly become a local favorite, even attracting bulk orders from local businesses.
Keith Hannon, a longtime member of the Trumansburg community, values the shop’s role in bringing people together. Looking ahead, the owners plan to expand the menu with more creative items while continuing to offer fast, friendly service to their neighbors.
